MEET AEROO PRO THE FISHING DRONE TAKING SA RECREATIONAL FISHING BY STORM

If you’ve never flown a drone — or thought about using one for fishing — you’re not alone. We hear it all the time: “Sounds complicated.” “I’m not great with tech,” or “What if I lose it?”

That’s why Harry built the Aeroo Pro — to make drone fishing easy. Whether you’re chasing bigger fish or just keen to try something new, the Aeroo Pro is reliable, user-friendly, and ready to fly straight out of the box.

HOW IT WORKS

You attach your fishing line to a small pin under the drone. It opens and closes with a button on the controller. Hit auto take-off, fly it out to your spot, drop the bait, and hit Return to Home. The drone flies back and lands itself, so you can tend to the rod.

Your phone can also connect to the controller to see the drone’s battery life, GPS position, and live camera view.

HOW FAR, HOW OFTEN, AND WHAT IT CAN CARRY?

The Aeroo Pro has a range up to 10km, but most people fly out about 100-400m from shore, drop 2-4 hooks and a sinker, and get 5-8drops per battery, depending on wind and weight. We recommend keeping payloads under 1kg for best performance.

WHAT ELSE CAN IT DO?

The Aeroo Pro’s 4K camera lets you film your drop and scout for gutters. The stabilised gimbal keeps footage smooth, even in windy conditions.

You can save drop points with GPS, then send the drone back to the same spot on autopilot. Drop your bait, press Return to Home, and it flies right back.

BUILT TOUGH FOR AUSSIE CONDITIONS

The Aeroo Pro is built for Australian fishing. It’s corrosion-resistant, flies in winds up to 50km/h, and handles salt spray and sea breeze. It’s not fully waterproof — and that’s intentional.

Waterproof drones can cost two to three times more, and even then, if one goes down 300m out, it’s likely gone. The Aeroo Pro delivers the essentials at a fishingfriendly price.

SAFETY FEATURES

Return to Home kicks in if the battery gets low or the signal drops. If a snag or bird strike happens, the safety clip releases the line to protect the drone.

NEW TO DRONES? NO PROBLEM

The Aeroo Pro is easy to use, even for beginners. First-time drone users are dropping baits and landing fish within minutes.

Ready to fish deeper? Check out the Aeroo Pro — available from Aeroo Australia, RRP $1299.
