South Australian Angler - SA Angler - AugustSeptember 2015

In this edition

Our August/September issue has something for every angler, kicking off with a great story from Brett Mensforth outlining a recent trip to lower Eyre Peninsula. In company with father Shane and a couple of mates, Brett does battle with big bream, surf salmon and some thumping flathead to better than eight pounds – all land-based and in shallow water.

For the offshore enthusiast we have a blue water feature on chasing big bluefin and also a neat piece from Jamie Crawford on catching gummy and school sharks. Lubin Pfeiffer explains the do's and don'ts of catching big snapper in fast water, Shane Mensforth explains what he's learned about catching cod, trout, mulloway and snapper, and newcomer Dave Zadow contributes an info-packed piece about knot selection.

Then are the usual boat reviews, cooking column, tackle tests, kayak feature and a whole lot more. It may be cold and wet outside, but there's plenty to get excited about in our August/September issue.
