Andrew Wotton Marine

Andrew Wotton Marine was established in 2015 as a mobile marine business, servicing the West Coast. What started out as a mobile operation quickly gained traction, and this year the team decided it was time to establish a bricks and mortar dealership.

Since 2015 they have picked great products that they know and trust for their customers on the water. These include Honda, Garmin, Spitfire Boat Trailers, Dunbier Trailers, Lone Star Marine winches, Stress Free winches, L&R Boat Latch and GME – to name a few.

AWM services all makes and models of outboards, and carries out the smallest job, from fixing trailer lights to full boat fit-outs. They love seeing people’s passion projects come to life.

The company’s fully stocked shop front has everything you need to keep you on the water, including spare parts, safety gear, boat accessories and a huge compliment of marine grade stainless steel bolts, screws, chandlery and fittings.

Anything that is specific AWM can get for you.

There’s a yard full of secondhand and consignment boats/ outboards available for sale, and staff can help customers who decide it’s time to sell, upgrade or trade in.

Andrew Wotton Marine is open from Tuesday-Friday 8:30-5pm, and by appointment on Mondays and Saturdays. Mondays are dedicated to Andrew heading out to work offside – an option on offer to all customers. Travel isn’t a problem, visiting the Port Pirie and Port Augusta areas on regular service runs.

Andrew has been in the marine industry since 2004, when he started his apprenticeship. During this time he has gained skills and experience in all facets of boating, including gaining his Master 5 and MED 2 commercial skipper tickets. This has provided him with the knowledge required to help commercial customers with survey needs, as well as understanding the conditions they work in and the demands on their equipment.

He loves coming to work every day and enjoys the challenges of diagnosing engine faults, servicing engines and trailers. His favourite job is fitting new outboards and complete boat fit outs. He enjoys starting with a blank canvas and making people’s dreams reality. The look on their faces when they see their new outboard or their boat completely fitted out from a bare hull is so rewarding.

When Andrew is not working, he likes to spend time with his wife Carissa and two boys caravaning, four-wheel driving and fishing in their 680 Haines Hunter. Whiting and squid are the usual targets during the winter months, and tuna and offshore fish over the summer, as well as exploring the islands.
